2nd Pension Funds and Alternative Investments Africa Conference in Mauritius

With only a few days to go to the official start date for the 2nd Pension Funds and Alternative Investments Conference (PI Africa), 15 – 16 March 2018, professionals from Pension funds, Hedge funds, Private Equity firms and Institutional investors are already gearing up to delve deep into discussions and debates that could have significant impact on Africa’s future economic development. Currently, pension funds in Africa have around $379 billion in assets under management. This large pool of funding can have a significant impact in funding infrastructure and social services which will be key for the economic development in the continent. Returning to Mauritius for its second edition, PI Africa 2018 will tackle the theme: Challenges and Alternative Opportunities for Development and Growth, with the aim of addressing how Africa can mobilize these funds to drive development and economic growth, while supporting the development of capital markets in the continent.
